John Bunyan once said,
“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
Over the last two weeks we have looked at the biblical definition of love and this week we’ll be looking at love in the form of compassion. Jesus told us in 1 John 3:16-17 that if we have plenty in this world, but we refuse to give to those in need, how can the love of God dwell in us? In this message we’ll look at the story of the good Samaritan and , hopefully, you’ll be able to draw some comparisons in your own life and be challenged to change. Next week we’ll conclude our #LOVE series with a look at the most difficult love to give.
