Mechanical Christianity- “The Treacherous Tongue” James 3:1-12

According to an article in the Harvard Business Review, for every compliment a person receives, he/she has had to endure SIX or more criticisms…and we wonder why the workplace can be so miserable.
Oliver Wendell Holmes once said,

“Speak clearly, if you speak at all; carve every word before you let it fall!”

How often does your tongue get you into trouble? Why is it so deceiving to think that it’s more important to be heard than it is to listen? James gives us a stern warning to BE CAREFUL! NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the power of your tongue. This week in our ‪#‎MechanicalChristianity‬ series we are going to be studying James 3:1-12, “The Treacherous Tongue”.
