Did you know that the human body can go 40+ days without food, 11 days without sleep, but no more than 3 days without water? Why? Because water is your body’s transportation system. It transports nutrients to your tissues and aids in the removal of toxic waste from your system. Have you ever been really thirsty? Now I’m not speaking of a physical thirst… I know that we’ve all experienced that kind of thirst. I’m speaking of a thirst in your soul that you just can’t seem to satisfy. Do you ever feel like you’re wandering in the wilderness of life? Like you are searching for meaning, for truth… for just something to hold on to?
Ravi Zacharias once said,
“No matter how much we try to run away from this thirst for the answer to life, for the meaning of life, the intensity only gets stronger and stronger. We cannot escape these spiritual hungers.”
In this sermon we will continue our #Psalm23 Series as we study three things that we thirst for the most in life… trust, satisfaction, and truth. Will you join us as we study Psalm 23:2b, “Finding Water In The Wilderness”?
