C.S. Lewis in his book, Mere Christianity, stated the following about the word satisfaction:
“If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.”
As we wrap up our #Psalm23Series this Sunday, our attention now turns from all that was before us to that which we leave behind. David closed out this Psalm with the words “surely goodness and mercy shall FOLLOW me all the days of my life…” Is that true about you? When you walk out of that break room at work, what are you leaving behind? Are the people encouraged or discouraged? Enthusiastic about life or crushed by the weight of stress? Are you inspiring or insulting? Life is full of choices. You cannot choose your adversity, but you can choose your attitude!
