Last Sunday in our #Easter series, we focused specifically on the Triumphal entry of Christ as He made His way into Jerusalem. It was the first of four sermons taking us on a journey to the resurrection of Jesus. We focused on John 12 last Sunday with five things to remember “When Things Don’t Go As Planned…”, this week we will continue that study with “…And Life Goes From Comfortable To Chaotic” as we look at Jesus with His disciples in the upper room and the chaos that ensued in the garden of Gethsemane. Remember, Jesus never promised you a comfortable life.
Tertullian once said,
“It is our battle to be summoned to your tribunals that there, under fear of execution, we may battle for the truth. But the day is won when the object of the struggle is gained. This victory of ours gives us the glory of pleasing God, and the spoil of life eternal.” (Apology 50)
So how will you respond when life goes from comfortable to chaotic?
