He was born into slavery, violence, and was separated from his parents as a child, yet Frederick Douglass became a great leader of the abolitionist movement, an accomplished author, and an outstanding orator.

He couldn’t get a job in physics for two years after graduation, yet Einstein became a Nobel Prize winning physicist for developing theories of special and general relativity.

He was cut during his sophomore year from the varsity basketball team, yet Michael Jordan became the best to ever play the game.

What do all of these people have in common? They didn’t quit when the odds were stacked against them. This week in our #Marked series, we’ll be looking at Mark 7:24-30, “When The Odds Are Against You”. A desperate mother without hope finds hope for her daughter in the only place you will ever find hope for you and your children… in the name of Jesus.
