Today you’ve been given a gift… a gift of 86,400 seconds. What will you do with them? If you’re like most people, you’ll probably waste the moments you have by dreaming about the moments you’ve already planned. There’s only one slight problem… THIS moment is in your hand, but tomorrow’s moment may NEVER come. Let me quote one of the most profound philosophers of all time… Dr. Seuss.
Dr. Seuss once said, “How did it get so late so soon?”
It’s so easy to make big plans, to dream about the weekends, to hope for a better tomorrow, but somehow the dream we seem to be chasing has a way of diminishing the gift of the present. This week in our #MechanicalChrisitanity series we’re going to be looking at James 4:13-17, “Tempting Time”. Are you tempting time? Are you making the moments count? Are you planning to serve yourself today and serve God tomorrow?
